Alyssa Goodman looks in awe at farm-fresh eggs Tuesday, April 2, 2013 in the Angus and Betty McDougall photo lab at the University of Missouri, Columbia. The eggs were a gift from photojournalism professor David Rees, who happened to be leaving the building at the time. Upon hearing that Goodman had only ever eaten eggs purchased at a supermarket, Rees generously insisted Goodman take two of his six eggs, suggesting she would be astounded by the rich color and taste.
